Intensive structured sessions with laser focus on one training area

If you are looking to address your dog's training issue and your general training either at home or in classes just isn't quite getting you the results you want and need? Then workshops are a great way to focus on one issue and create improvement by learning to understand your dog's behaviours and what drives them and by helping you with practical exercises to teach your dog the skills he needs to make the desired progress.

FABULOUS FOCUS  -  Sunday, 29th September, 10 - 12 noon

Does your dog not listen to you or does he have selective hearing? Then this is the workshop for you where you will get an in depth understanding on how to teach your dog great focus at home, on walks and wherever you need it. You also really want to do this workshop as a foundation for the RELIABLE RECALL and LOVELY LEAD WALKING too. £35 / £30 for WTDT Members

RELIABLE RECALL  -  Sunday, 6th October, 10 - 12 noon

Is your dog's recall patchy and does he only come back when he feels like it? Then this is the workshop for you where you will learn in detail how to manage your dog effectively on walks and how teach a solid recall. Consider doing the FABULOUS FOCUS workshop too if you register for this one. £35 / £30 for WTDT Members

LOVELY LEAD WALKING  -  Sunday, 20th October, 10 - 12 noon

Is your dog a puller? Then this is the workshop for you where you learn all about how to achieve great lead walking skills from your dog making sure that you are walking your dog and not the other way round. Consider doing the FABULOUS FOCUS workshop too if you register for this one. £35 / £30 for WTDT Members

HAPPY HANDLING - Sunday, 27th October, 10 - 12 noon

Do you struggle to groom your dog, clip his nails or administer medication ? Is your dog scared or difficult at the vet or at the groomers? Then this is the workshop for you where we will cover grooming and handling in great detail including body examinations, administering ear and eye drops, nail clipping, muzzle training and more. £35 / £30 for WTDT Members

WHEN: See individual workshops

WHERE: Blo' Norton Village Hall 

HOW: 2-hour sessions (one or multiple) covering the topic intensively with theory and practical applications. 

WHO is it for: suitable for all breeds and ages of dog, though they need to be comfortable around other dogs and people. If your dog is mildly reactive please contact us before registering. 

WHO is teaching: Vera Marney, who is the WTDT owner, an experienced and highly qualified trainer and behaviourist
